Built through layers of paint, scraped surfaces, gestural marks and drawn lines, What Remains explores the traces left behind as a painting is made, covered, reconsidered and made again.
Deep burgundy and near-black plum anchor softer passages of blush, clay, cream and muted rose, while fragments of earlier marks remain visible throughout. The result is richly textured and expressive, with a composition that shifts between weight and openness, order and instinct.
This original work is painted on a 24 × 36 inch gallery-wrapped canvas with finished edges and is ready to hang.
